Harpers-Shadow One Year Anniversary and Giveaway!

Yikes! It has been a full year since I began Harpers-Shadow in February of 2012. I can't believe time has passed by so quickly.

 I just want to thank my followers and anyone just passing through to check my blog out because it really means so much to me. I love having my blog and an area to share all of the things I enjoy. This year my plans are to provide more posts, better quality pictures to accompany them and maybe even some YouTube videos (check out my first two here and here)!



 To thank you for your support, I have decided to give away a prize. My favorite eye shadow palette EVER, LORAC's "Unzipped".   1. I'm new to your site but after scrolling through my favorite posts are all the work outfit style posts. I always seem to draw a blank when it comes to work attire and these posts give me some great examples!

      Thanks so much for reading that post! I always love getting inspired by pictures and I tried using as many photos of different types of girls as possible (i.e. skin color, undertones, hair color etc.) so everyone can identify with someone.

  12. My favorite would be,Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector Review. Lately i'm obsessed with BB cream and i like to read any blog post about BB cream..i have an oily skin type so that's why i like to read reviews so i know which one is best for me..

      I completely understand! I know Garnier's BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector may be too moisturizing for your skin type but I know they recently came out with a matte BB cream that you may want to check out! I think I will try it this summer.

  19. This is my first visit but I just enjoyed looking at the photos that inspire you. It's funny because the last one of the iced tea with lemon in it is my favorite. And makes me crave a nice big glass of sweet iced tea.

    I like that most of them can be worn to work. Yet all of them look so comfortable that I wouldn't feel as if I was wearing work clothes.

  32. Well I like the style pics you do now and then, most of the people are my favorites like blake lively!! However, the most helpful I think would be your bb cream post since thats whats brought me to your blog to begin with. Liked the before and after pictures and how you detailed the way you applied and powdered it for the finished look you had...and your review was pretty unbiased.

  34. I like to try new recipes and my son would really get a kick out of "bird in the nest", he would laugh and say "thats funny, mom". sodmetimes its hard to get him to eat, but i think he would enjoy this

  37. I love your reviews like Benefit They're Real! Mascara Review because you show the honest truth about products and how it really looks. I get so discouraged when blogs only show the super professional (not that you aren't professional :D)looking pictures of makeup I could never do.
