Rimmel London: Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss in #113

I love this lipstick! Not only is it a great price point (under $6 typically) but it's a great color and consistency. I have recently been on the look out for a great nude color but didn't want to commit to an expensive or "high-end" lipstick because I don't typically wear lipstick and didn't want to waste my money if it didn't work out. Also, due to my olive complexion, I did not want to get stuck with white lips or something too pasty. I just wanted that Kim Kardashian perfect nude lip.

Well, I was trolling the aisles of my local Walgreens and this caught my eye. I haven't tried tons of Rimmel London products but the Kate Moss collection caught my eye. The packaging is too cute! Seriously, the matte red color with her signature is really pretty and not cheesy. 

The lipstick comes in ten shades which are all numbers (kind of a bummer because names are easier to remember for me) but whatev's lol. The nude immediately caught my eye in #113. It IS perfect. Just the right shade I was looking for. Not too pink, not too brown just a nice wash of color to tone down the natural pink of my lips for a more mod appearance but not completely opaque.

The product smells similar sweet to my YSL Guava Sheer Candy but not nearly as strong. It really has no taste and I have discovered, much like with all lipstick, your lips need to be moisturized well before you wear it. The consistency is a little dry, not super creamy like some lipsticks, but doable. 

All in all, I recommend checking out this special Kate Moss edition of lipsticks. All of the colors are matte and there is a large range. I may actually go back for more myself!
